The Coupler essentially allows the Daytripper Easel system to be a phenomenal tabletop easel with incredible adjustability.
For the painter that loves to work in the studio and outside, and frequently does both, this is the product they’ve been waiting for, particularly if they already own a Daytripper.
Small when not in use. Put it in a drawer near your studio desk.
Start by attaching the Upright Painting Holder.
One need not detach the crossbars, or the quick release plate to the tripod, typically.
Then attach the Daytripper Palette using the variable width clamping mechanism.
Adjust the angle based on your preference and the lighting conditions in the room.
Some like a steep angle where the palette is at almost the same angle as the painting, thus helping with accuracy in color mixtures.
Because the towels and Brush Cleaning Jar hang, there is less chance of spilling.
